Re: Owners out
Selling Hernandez after the window shut and after Antonio was injured tells you everything you need to know about the owners.

Forget the board arselickers claiming he wanted to go, the player didn't decide he wanted to go after the window shut. He would have wanted to go long before so he could have been sold and an appropriate replacement bought.

Classic Sullivan asset strip, people always need to keep a close eye on the outs when praising for the board for the players brought in, often on the never never like Diop was.

Re: Owners out
Swindon, when you invest in a football club, to make it work you need to do more than invest in the odd 40 million pound player.

You need money spent on a decent infrastructure such as training facilities. We're miles behind other clubs when it comes to stuff like this and is probably why we always seem to get more injuries than other teams and our team always seems to be unfit not just under mp but bilic as well.

Its no good paying out big money on one player but then scrimping in others such as a reserve keeper.

MP cannot escape any of the blame for the turgid shit that is currently being churned out but when the same scenario hits two managers ie bilic/mp where they have a decentish first season only for the performances of the team as a whole and the players as individuals gets worse and worse then there is something fundamentally wrong at the club.

Too many things are done on the cheap and too many things are done just to keep the money coming in . Most decent owners nowadays don't look at a football club as a way to make money , ours do and that will remain our problem whether Pelligrini stays or goes.

And just for clarity, i think he needs to go but i just don't think a new manager faced with the same problem is going to do a lot better , short term maybe, long term no chance.

Re: Owners out
Mate they've invested next to fuck all aside from the cost of buying the club. They were charging 7% on shareholder loans until everyone kicked off about. They are also due to take £45m out of the club in January.

They are poisonous and the only thing they care about is a pound note.

Cost of everything and the value of nothing. Parasites.

They promised us a cm even after we signed fornals. Guess what happened next.

They bought us when we were in a bad place and have invested but taking us away from the boleyn to the shithole with lies from brady is unforgiveable in my book.they have taken the soul out of west ham with that move.cant see anyone buying the club and building a football stadium in the east end.

We have no assets? A 97 year lease on a 66,000 stadium with sliding rent ( in our favour) if relegated is not an asset?

Takeshi Miike,

So in 2003 why didn't Abramovich try and buy us when we were at Upton Park? He tried to buy Tottenham and got knocked back so went for Chelsea instead.

In 2009 when our owners went bust why didn't the current Man City owners look to purchase us before they Brought City when we were still at Upton Park?

Why apart from Gold & Sullivan did we only have interest from Tony Fernandes?

Oh and also we had the 7th best home record in the premier league last season. How is that possible if it's impossible to play there?

Also was it the owners decision to spend 24 million on Fornals rather than spend it on a central mid that we all knew we needed as a priority?

It still amazes me anyone defends these chairmen. It’s all there to see what they do! It’s all about making money, fans my arse!

Re: Owners out
I don't expect anyone to buy us as we have almost no assets. your heroes created this situation, where they sold out main asset on the cheap, moved us to a completely unsuitable shithole where it's like playing 38 away games every season and a squad that has minimal depth in the most important areas. no, I don't expect anyone would want to buy us in our current state

Re: Owners out
You just know that the idiots will sell Diop to the yids ( who we should never do business with ever) and let Mr Dead spunk 50m on obscure Spaniards or South Americans that he can't get the best out of.

Cunts.

Re: Owners out
If I look at comparable clubs to us we have spent decent money.
If you think we are comparable to Liverpool, Man Utd, Man City, Chelsea or Arsenal then you are deluded. We are tin pot as our yearly accounts suggest. The wage bill at our club is astronomic. Players bigged up over a few decent performances and signed on long deals.
They don't paint the picture of miser owners. Look at what happened with that other twat owner that half of you wanted that ended up taking over QPR and then destroyed it.

They’ll go when it makes the most sense financially (to them).
A bunch of middle aged men running on the pitch and doing the aeroplane won’t make any difference.

swindon hammer 7:34 Thu Dec 26
Re: Owners out
I have said before I am open to a change of ownership but who do you think is going to buy us? Tony Fernandes?

The next level thing was a load of bollocks and we were never going to realistically compete with the top 6 because they haven't got the money so shouldn't have said that.

That being said our wage bill far exceeds the Bournemouth' , Sheff Utd and Burnley's of this world and you can deny this all you want but we spent decent money on players like Anderson, Yarmolenko, Fornals, Haller & Diop, all players the Manager WANTED and he hasn't got the best out of them.

In your own mind you like to imagine that the owners are making it impossible for the manager to do his job but in reality the manager has been backed enough for us to at least be a mid table team and not be fighting relegation again.

FCJ
The truth is they have run our club for 10 years (& Birmingham for 15 previously) and apart from making money for themselves have achieved nothing (nil , nada) in the footballing arena.
They just aren’t up to running a FOOTBALL club. The footballing side of a club that is.
Other wealthy people own clubs and are sensible enough to appoint football experts to set a strategy and run the club.
These are dangerous in that they have no expertise or intelligence but IMAGINE they do.

I expect us to be relegated this season and sadly (being a fan) if it means a quicker exit for the clowns I find it hard to be too upset.
